Inherent requirements:

• Matric
• Minimum 2 years sales and/or business development experience with a proven track record
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Established customer relationships in the Healthcare Industry
• Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle essential

Duties & responsibilities:

• Source and generate new business opportunities in all areas of operations within the Division
• Draw up quotes in conjunction with the Business Development Executive, Financial Accountant and Chief Financial Officer
• Present quotes to clients and negotiate accordingly
• Follow-up on all client visits and quotes
• Manage new business brought into the Company
• Identify clients who require immediate attention and action these operational and/or service related matters
• Reach and exceed pre-determined targets as per the division’s strategy
• Generate sales by identifying opportunities at existing clients
• Establish clients’ needs and/or requirements and advise of the benefits of utilizing the Company (based on knowledge about competitor advantage or benefits)
• Communicate and escalate issues to the appropriate manager
• Communicate and escalate new client and sales opportunities to the Business Development Executive, Operational Manager and operations team to achieve the overall Company sales objectives
• Increase sales at existing clients through ongoing engagements with the Unit Managers, PA’s (ward secretaries)
• Ensure 360° communication between client, operations team and assignees where bookings are done
• Undertake and provide assistance during client and staff events as part of direct or indirect marketing function, i.e. hand-out of Nurses day and year-
end gifts and promotional items, during service launches, conferences, summits, etc.
• Ensure records, reports and statistics are available for reporting to senior and top management in line with the Company requirements
• Attend to the office once a week (half-a-day) to submit staff documentation, attend to administrative duties, reporting and feedback both internally and externally to the clients and staff
Client and Staff Relationship Management
• Available to clients and staff at all times on an ad-hoc basis
• Maintain and build client and staff relationships on an ongoing basis
• Obtain competitor information and submit to relevant supervisor and/or manager for further investigation/management
• Promote Nursing Emergencies to all staff that is not already registered with the Company
• Liaise with Operations and Admin Manager regarding client’s logistical issues and requirements to ensure efficient service delivery to our clients
• Liaison between the payroll department, Sales Consultant and Business Development Executive related to:
o Collecting of timesheets
o Implementation of client requirements related to electronic and manual time and attendance, i.e. Kronos – Workforce Management System (WFM) registration, etc.
• Ongoing follow-up with supervisors and/or managers of client facilities related to staff performance to ensure quality service delivery to the clients in line with client’s requirements
• Conduct staff meetings at the client sites as and when required by management, the client or by staff
• Conduct client visitation sessions on ongoing basis to ensure opportunities to engage with staff during day and night duty to serve as staff monitoring around compliance with hospital policies (uniforms, clocking, disciplinary process, etc.)
• Provide daily / weekly feedback reports to the Business Development Executive, as to the activity in the field
Training/Orientation liaison
• Liaison between Business Development Executive, Clinical Training Specialists, Operations and Admin Manager related to training needs at the clients which requires implementation of training workshops, orientation, induction programmes
• Advertising of training programs on various platforms, i.e. Social Media, Printed advertising displayed at the clients, etc
• Monitor and follow-up with clients related to staff attending orientation sessions in their facilities to ensure timeous placement of orientees and to retain staff on our database through facilitation of assignment opportunities
